Small group of nunataks near the edge of the polar plateau, lying 14 mi ESE of Beard Peak, La Gorce Mountains, in the Queen Maud Mountains. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Gerald V. Graves of U.S. Navy (USN) Squadron VX-6, photographer on Operation Deep Freeze 1966 and 1967.
