Description

A partly snow-covered peak rising above the ice plateau about 130 miles SSE of Mount Menzies, Mac. Robertson Land. Discovered by the crew of a Soviet aircraft on Dec. 7, 1958, during a flight from the "Pole of Inaccessibility" to Mirnyy Station. Photographed by Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) in December 1960. Named by the Soviet expedition.
