A gable-like cliff facing E at the SE corner of Storkvammen Cirque, on the E side of the Humboldt Mountains in Queen Maud Land. Discovered and photographed by the German Antarctic Expedition (GerAE), 1938-39. Mapped and named Kvamsgavlen by Norway from air photos and surveys by the Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (NorAE), 1956-60.
