A rock crag 1 mi NE of Forsythe Bluff, rising to c. 2,590 m on the W side of Daniels Range, Usarp Mountains. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) aerial photographs, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) in 1986 after Peter Misch, Professor Emeritus of Geology, University of Washington, who has contributed to the training of numerous geologists who have worked in the Antarctic.
