A small tributary glacier that flows east and converges with Lower Jaw Glacier before entering Renegar Glacier, Royal Society Range. Named by New Zealand Geographic Board (NZGB) in 1994. On a map, the combined shapes of the Upper Jaw Glacier and Lower Jaw Glacier resemble a gaping mouth, an illusion strengthened by the proximity of Shark Fin (q.v.).
