Description (see definition): A prominent nunatak, 1,600 m, standing 4 mi E of Tentacle Ridge in the Cook Mountains. Mapped by the Darwin Glacier Party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (CTAE) (1956-58) and named for P.D. Mulgrew, chief radio operator at Scott Base, who accompanied Sir Edmund Hillary to the South Pole.
