Description (see definition): Mostly ice-free hills, 1 mile long and 1435 m elevation, located along the western margin of Rhone Glacier where the glacier descends abruptly to Lake Bonney, Taylor Valley, Victoria Land. Named by New Zealand Geographic Board (NZGB) (1998) after Chris H. Hendy, New Zealand geochemist involved for many years from 1969 in Antarctic research, including work at nearby Lake Bonney.
