An ice piedmont in Trinity Peninsula, about 15 mi long and between 3 and 6 mi wide, extending from Charcot Bay to Russell West Glacier. Mapped from surveys by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) (1960-61). Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Christopher B. Gavin-Robinson, pilot of Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (FIDASE) (1956-57).
