An ice-covered knob rising between the heads of Craft and Rochray Glaciers in the SW part of Thurston Island. First plotted from air photos taken by U.S. Navy (USN) Operation Highjump, 1946-47. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for aviation radioman Wendell K. Hendersin, USN, a member of the expedition who lost his life in a seaplane crash at Thurston Island on Dec. 30, 1946.
