Description (see definition): Rocky pyramidal peak, 1,000 m, midway between the S end of the Walton Mountains and LeMay Range in the central part of Alexander Island. First mapped from air photos obtained by the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE), 1947-48, by Searle of the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1960. Named by the UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) for Gustav Holst (1874-1934), English composer.
