Description (see definition): A rugged mountain massif, 10 mi long, located immediately W of the Eland Mountains and along the S side of Clifford Glacier, in Palmer Land. Mapped by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1974. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Captain Hugh A. Kelley, U.S. Navy (USN), Commander of Antarctic Support Activities during Operation Deep Freeze 1968 and 1969.
