A somewhat lower but very imposing peak standing immediately S of Mount Dolence in the Heritage Range, Ellsworth Mountains. Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1961-66. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Harold W. Linder, geophysicist with the U.S. Antarctic Research Program (USARP) Ross Ice Shelf party, 1961-62.
